Italy President Sergio Mattarella congratulates 3-moves draughts World Champion Michelle Borghetti.

I wish it would happen that mind sports were honored.
Then I read yesterday that at the University of Alabama, the university president is paid about $500,000 and the football coach is paid about $6,000,000.
Is there something wrong with this picture, and does it say something about our values?
