From the German Open Tournament table from the above link:

1. Igor Martynov 23 points
2. Thomas Jürgens 22 points
3. Jan Zioltkowski 19 points
4. Ingo Zachos 18 points

The tournament had seven rounds with thirteen competitors.
Congratulations to Igor Martynov for winning a competitive German Open 2017.

Here are the results of the German Open 2017:

With 13 players the attendance was good. IM Igor Martynov once again proved his superiority, but thomas J+ürgens played the tournament of his life and almost took the title away from Igor.

Jan Zioltkowsky had a bad first day, but on the second day (his birthday) he won each game and took 3rd place.

I was unlucky to lose a drawn game on time against Thomas Jürgens and both games by blunders against Jan, but it simply was not my day :-)

Juri Geisenblas should have taken a game from Igor Martynov. His tactical skills are great.

We wish to play the GO next year at the Hessentag festvities in Korbach and hope that we can top the 13 players of 2017.
