Checkers for the Novice: June 2019 Update

Post by chipschap »

Richard Pask's Checkers for the Novice has been reissued with about nine minor changes. You can get the revised electronic version from my Checker Maven websie: http://www.bobnewell.net/checkers/paskpdf.html. There is also an errata sheet if you wish to manually update a printed copy.

While the print version has also been re-released, there is no need or reason to replace your existing copy. The changes are indeed minor. Just get the errata sheet and make your own changes in pencil.

Side note: Another update to Complete Checkers is in process with a targeted release of the end of July. This update includes correction of typos, and a handful of content revisions and additions. JIm Loy kindly supplied Mr. Pask with quite a few of the corrections.

A very good book for us beginners. Thanks. And looking forward to the whole series being completed.
