Last month there was a discussion about the new USA Checkers website, with recommendations to use the WordPress, where can I find that discussion?

I found the discussion, it was through the mail list, tried the WordPress, its kind of CRM, thousands of files in hundreds of directories. Likely good for non-programmers, I on the other hand, pride myself on writing exact code, can anyone suggest the best tools, I used Visual Studio, but it now offers too many choices, which to choose? I also used the Dreamweaver, but I lost the license on the old computer.

Depending on your specific purpose you might look into one of the static site generators.

Its been like 3 years since decision was made to create a new site, with Word Press software. Frankly I expected to see it running. What happened?

Meanwhile I too started tinkering with WordPress, put some Russian and Pool checkers books, no Straight checkers yet, it just testing while learning.
