Kindle Direct, which does the printing for the books I've published for Richard Pask, has announced a big increase in printing prices for large format books and a smaller increase for smaller books. Complete Checkers 3rd Edition, Complete Checkers: Insights and Complete Checkers: Repertoire are affected by the large increase, which amounts to over 40%.
The books are currently priced right at the edge and we have yet to recover costs on Complete Checkers: Repertoire. So unfortunately we will have to increase prices of these books, probably by about $5. It remains our goal to keep prices as low as possible while still recovering costs, and we have no margins left.
This will happen around June 20 and I apologize for this unfortunate but necessary step.
The ebooks are of course forever free.
