A Truce For The Holidays and For The 2006 New Year :-)

Post by Alan Millhone »

Hello Everyone:

I have been carefully reading all the postings and am sure we have left the 'mark' of late. We should concentrate on Checker/Draughts related postings concerning news around the World on events, discussion on lines of play, diagrams and the discussion of those diagrams and how they come up in actual games. Checker/Draughts chat among players............

Name calling, etc. really serves no productive purpose and simply projects a bad image of Checker/Draughts players who read our forum. I am sure it is bad for any youth or any youth's parents to read the many negative postings on the ACF Forum. Our game needs youth and by some of our postings we are literally turning them away.

I am far from perfect but will do my best to post items that will promote our great game in any way possible.

Sincerely:
Alan Millhone, President
American Checker Federation
