This is a game I played on kurnik last night.

Zocar vs. Chappell

9-13 23-18, 10-15 26-23, 6-10 23-19, 11-16 18-11, 16-23 27-18, 7-16 (A), 30-26 8-11, 18-15 (B) 10-19, 24-8 4-11, 22-18 16-19 (C) 32-28, 11-16 18-15, 7-2! 25-22(D), 7-10 (E) 15-6, 1-10 22-17 (F), 13-22 26-17, 10-15 17-14, 16-20 21-17(G), 3-7 17-13, 7-11 13-9, 19-23 27-18, 15-22 9-6, 11-16* 6-2, 20-24 28-19, 16-23 2-7, 23-26 7-10, 26-30 10-15, 12-16 14-10, 5-9 10-7, 9-13 7-3, 30-25 3-7, 25-21 7-11, 16-20 15-19, 21-17 11-15, 17-21 (H) 31-27 (K) 21-25 19-23 (J)

A. I thought this was an odd jump but computer says its ok.

B. 18-14 is stronger according to kingsrow; still not a win though.

C. This move might be little weak, but again still draws. Kingsrow suggested 1-6

D. 7-11? May lose after 19-23!

E. I expected 1-6, which could continue 22-17 13-22, 26-17 16-20, 25-22 3-8 (Kingsrow says 5-9, but I believe this to be less confusing. 5-9 seems to give red more room to error.), 17-14 7-11, 14-10 draws.

F. My Kingsrow says that this move is a positive 136 for white for a couple seconds before coming down.

G. After making this move I thought 29-25 may have been stronger. After running it up, the order of reds next few moves are critical, but it just draws by: 29-25 3-8*, 25-22 12-16*, 22-17 (21-17 and 14-10 both draw after 8-12) 8-11, 14-10 19-23 etch.

H. Great move, 22-26 lost after 31-22, 17-26 15-18, 26-31 (if 26-30 18-14, 30-26 29-25 plays into the same) 29-25, 31-27 25-21, 27-32 18-23 etch. WW. Here I was still searching for a win, but nothing was there, I had no way to attack his men without losing one of my king on 18 or letting his man on 20 go free.

K. This move gave red a couple ways to draw, but it was obvious if I didn't make this move, no attack could be made at all.

J. Unfortunatly, we had both forgoten about the timers and zocar ran out of time. This game was a dead draw though red could have drawn with either 25-21 or 30-25.

I thought that was a good defence for red... leaving white the chance to over play the position at Note D.. which I almost did do :) . Maybe the attack could be improved by the 18-14 on Note B or possible 28-24 on move 9.

7x16 has worse value than white doctor...maybe white doctor is explored more but i like how 7 16 holds the single corner kinda off balance
i enjoyed watching parts of that game ......i thought u would win also
