Post by kiwinurse »

May you all have a great Christmas with your familys and friends as i intend to have in New Zealand.Last night i went to the movies with my daughter to see "Nativity"which a stars a New Zealand actress. It was a very good, accurate movie and made me focus on what was important before Christmas.Hopefully next year ill meet up with some of you again in September.Regards to all the great checker people i have known.

A very merry Christmas to you too Jan and indeed to all who visit this forum. I shall very much look forward to meeting you next September. Until then may all your checker moves be good ones.

And a Merry Christmas to all from Maryland! Particularly Lindus and Jan, whom I used to "see" far more often. I have been active in It's Your Turn only (because I also like to play Russian and International checkers as well as chess) and the checkers forum there has gone under for all practical purposes. So I miss Jan's comments and Lindus' wisdom and reminiscences.

Jan should know that I always get to think of New Zealand around Christmas, because I have a co-worker who telecommutes from there the rest of the year, but comes to the home office from mid-December to mid-January, and I get to hear all her praises for her adopted land (she was originally from Cleveland) several times over. And, of course, if I think of New Zealand I always think of Jan, just like when I think of Wales I think of Lindus.

Merry Christmas to all, once again!

A very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all, I have really enjoyed playing everyone on the Wyllie web site and also playing on IYT at times too.

Hi Pedro,
Thank you for your kind remarks. I miss playing you at WODC and hope you will be back there in the not too-distant future. Roberto runs tournaments (3-move and freestyle) on a regular basis.

Thanks Ingo, weve actually had a diabolical summer so far, our weathers changing like everyone elses, what with huge iceburgs floating up our coastlines, never been seen before, like mountains they are, or bigger, and our sun hasnt come for any length of time- yet, bus christmas day was warm and we could sit around our barbecue tables, which was great- hope you had a good one, regards jan
